Been back in Plano for about a week now. The riding has been pretty good so far. I can't believe how much a local park can do for a scene.
Saw Morris, Dustin, Jason, and some other kids tonight. I'm going to try to borrow catherine's car tomorrow so I can go to bike mart and bother hinton for a while.
I got a new frame from tanner that feels a lot better than that 20" Homan. I still can't get tailwhips! what the fuck is wrong with me?
I got some new jeans and shirts with jay po today. yuh. we've both been doing well with quitting the cigs. she's a good girl.
I had to make some bowl brownies at Grapevine Mills today, so I went to the bathroom to find two guys sitting in the seperate stalls carrying on a conversation about some Mexican girls they met earlier. who does that?
It's nice to be in Plano for a while. Haven't seen my parents or Jena's parents in a long time. Speaking of parents, Tanner's dad lent me some literature to make sure I knew where I came from. We had a nice little talk about it and I shit my pants laughing. I guess you had to be there.
I think that's it for now.. I'm going to try to get some sleep so I can ride the park when it opens tomorrow. |

wow. i was jena and i were conversing over a moldy commons dinner when she told me some wonderful news. Texas State will be eliminating 18 hours from almost all majors in 2008. Where are these 18 hours going to come from? No, not the rediculous "PFW" classes that we must go through.. they are eliminating almost all Philosophy and Anthropology. Thank god no one will be required to learn about Niche, Marx, or Aristotle. No one will be forced to learn about the nature of culture and society. I'm just really glad they still offer something that no one has taken before, physical education. Don't get me wrong, I have absolutely no problem with offering majors concentrating on health and sports medicine (etc), but why take away something so enlightening? I will update later. I need to go do some jumping jacks. |

Holy crap. I haven't been on LJ in a vury vury long time. Summer is almost here, and I am ready for it. Jena and I are going back to Plano for most of May and June, then returning to San Marcos for the second summer session (July - beginning of August).
I got to ride around town a little bit last Sunday for a while. The tennis court ditch is actually pretty fun when you try new stuff. I can't wait to ride the Allen park this summer. It's worth getting up at 7:30am to have that place to myself. I've heard that all the little kids that used to pedal around the skatepark doing nothing have now mastered tuck no handers and flairs. Needless to say, I've got some catching up to do.
There is a new edition to the fambly!! Jpo and I bought a mouse (that matches Buster) and named him French Fry. Mr. Fry goes crazy on his wheel and crawls over everything he sees. Jena and I also went to some pet stores in Austin. I want to get a pot bellied pig, a sloth, and some baby ferrets. Anyone willing to donate to the zoo fund?

The english lab just got new imacs, which makes me happpyyyyy. If I can ever afford a desktop I'm going to get one of these.

Jpo turned 21 on Saturday! We went to Wal Mart where she made her first legal alcohol purchase (Boones Farm Wine of course). Her and the ladies went to the square that night and had some fun. No more having to beg people to get booze from the store now! The fridge is stocked with Schlitz and Miller High Life now.
No more CRI! I rode the high horse of unemployment for a while, but the empty bank account is getting to me. Hopefully I will get a job at Vagabond today.. the owner is chill and said he will get me a few hours a week.
I HAVE A CAR! The Sentra is officially MINE now (well, kinda). The big white pussy was delivered on Friday and is purring like there is no tomorrow.

I just heard about the attacks on London in the car this morning. I find it so sad and I still cannot comprehend why this happens in the world. Then again, I have no idea where the roots of the people that participate in these bombings. I am going to do some research..
My mom thinks that she's might get laid off from her job. She told me this afternoon that if she does I would have to go to CCCC for a year until my sister graduates from OU. yah, FUCK that. I've been browsing scholarship stuff most of the morning, and I missed the deadline for most of them. I am going to turn my forms in for the spring semester of 2006 on the first day possible.
I just got back from the dermatologist, got a perscription, and found out my insurance doesn't cover it. I'm going to need $176 to fill it. poop.
j-po gave me tons and tons and tons of software and help, so my powerbook is running great. she RULES!

Happy Valentine's Day to all!
Hope everyone had a wonderful day, I know I did. I have been crowned the new master of keeping secrets. Jena didn't suspect anything like what I did for her! Everything was planned out to the last minute/retarded detail. I had her girlies keep her away for a bit and set everything up. I made a trail of rose pedals up the stairs to her room which was accented by some Hershey's Kisses. I spelled "I Love You" in front of her door where there was a bear holding a sign that read "Now that I've kissed the ground you walk on, will you be my Valentine?" with a chocolate rose beside it. I had her favorite Deathcab song playing, dinner set up, and a nice floral centerpiece for her when she walked in the room. I also crocheted a scarf for her.. just how she likes them. We saw "Hitch" after dinner which was quite comical, but got somewhat predictable towards the end.
I'm sorry that the day had a few bumps in it today baby. <3
I love doing things like this for her. No, not just because I am a romantic person. I love doing these things for her because she is absolutely amazing (I know she will disagree with me, but it is the TRUTH). I can be myself 100% of the time with her with absolutely no fear. She is so much fun to be with her, I find myself constantly laughing until I am red in the face, having wonderful times at dance parties, and having that deep down feeling of happiness as she lays asleep next to me. We have been together for about six months now, which seems like mere days. I guess time flies when you're with the most wonderful person in the world.
I love you Jena Elise Michael Ponsford Johnson. I am so fortunate to have you in my life and to share it with you.
We went to Ramp Ranch this Saturday where I busted my face once more (not as bad as last time though). I can almost hit the curved wallride, but I've got to grow some balls and haul ass at it. Ryan Smith was going a billion miles an hour and flying around that thing. Bastard! Jena sat on the top of the huge sub on the corner quarter to wall and flashed that beautiful smile down at me while I was falling on my arse. Jed was back riding too, which was great to see. He finished kemo in Maryland and is back in town for a while (not supposed to be riding of course, but it's hard to stay away from).
Dance party on Saturday night! Jena/Jessica/and I went over to Luis' house and DANCED IT UP!!! So much fun. Luis, if you're reading this we have to have a pirates vs. ninja dance party soon. get one it! Go ninja go ninja go! go mickey's go mickey's go mickey's go!

School is HARD. I guess it gets this way when you're actually trying. I have to perform well this semester, or I'm going to get kicked out, go to CCCC, and spend my life working at McDonald's.
I am still pondering the existance of some sort of higher being, and I haven't had much luck with coming to some sort of conclusion. A large portion of the thinking has made me feel one way, but there is still one question that forces me to the other side. I have come to one conclusion though, I really disagree with organized religions.
Jena and I went to Ramp Ranch last Sunday, and I rode well (at least I think so). I got 360s back over the box jump, and I'm somewhat confident that I will be able to get 360 x-ups soon. The Empire contest is going to be amazing, so will the video. I'm going balls to the wall from now on..
We also went to Thai Thai today..so much fun spending time with her<33 i got my ass kicked when we wrestled today. shit. <333
Thankfully, I have a much better room and a much better roommate this semester. We're not best friends, but we get along nicely. Falls is exponentially better than Jackson as well, the people here seem quite a bit nicer too.
I don't have time for a huge update now.. it's 1:08am. Fuck 8am classes and philosophy.

Winter break is almost over! It has been a somewhat interesting time at home this time around. I have changed a lot since I have lived here, but everything here has remained the same. For instance, my mother expects me to be at home at 12am every evening (disregarding the fact that I am now eighteen) and still treats me like a little boy. I know she loves me and wants to protect me, but some of this stuff is completely retarded. She doesn't realize that if she'd trust me a little bit everything would actually turn out alright. There is no evidence against me to warrant such treatment, so I don't know why she's doing this.
I have been somewhat busy as of late (not with work of course!). I was fired from my job at Eisenberg's for letting one of my friends, a regular at the skatepark, take a rental helmet (which probably doesn't even belong to Eisenberg's. They find helmets in the park after we close and put them at the rental counter to make money off of) without paying the $3.00 rental fee. Well, this individual did not ride at the skatepark, let alone go past the retail counter. He left to go get his bike and come back to the skatepark. Essi (the owner's husband) asked me if I made him pay for it. Being the person that I am I told him the truth. Upon recieving this information he seemed quite upset, but did not issue me any sort of warning. My friend then comes back, buys a helmet for $32.46 and leaves. Well, the next day when I was shopping with my friend Rebecca I get a call and find out I'm fired. Complete bullshit! Well, long story short Jena's brother Paul is getting his lawyer friend to write a nice little letter for them..
My shouty and I went thrifting today (after the fucking allen courthouse) and got some bad ass shiza. Jena got a fucking AMAZING dinosaur shirt and I got some jeans, a sweet polo, and a suit jacket. We came home, smoked, played rummy, ate pizza, and i got my ass kicked in scategories. I have gotten to spend a lot of time at jena's house and I LOVE it! I got my late Christmas present in, and I know everyone is going to be jealous. A fucking bad ass bronxxx shirt, stickers, and a button pack. Thank you Dirty<3
I'm banned from Eisenbergs so I don't have anywhere to ride in dallas until spring break. I'm going to go to motive soon to get some new (mostly used, but new to me) parts before I go back to San MArcos.
I've been coming down with something, so I'm going to head off to bed now and hopefully finish Choke. |

I did my first handrail ever today! I kinda did one at Eisenberg's a while ago, but I got really messed up when I tried, so I guess that one didn't count. My friend Zach pointed it out to me a while ago and it's been in the back of my head for a while. I ran up to it a few times and pulled a Jimmy Levan (roll up twice and HAVE to go for it the third time). I didn't get on and fell the first few tries.. cut up my elbow and hand, but i got on the third attempt. I only slid it for a little bit the first time, but I had a smile from ear to ear. I haven't had that satisfaction from riding, and I LOVE IT.
After I did the rail about 6 times I decided to head for the tennis court ditch. There's a parking barrier on the top of it now that I didn't have a chance to hit because my friend Dane showed up and took me to Jeff's newly finished mini ramp. I hadn't been there before, but I was pleasantly suprised when we got there. It's about 6 ft tall and 10 ft wide. I was trying some 540s on it, but could only get a little bit past 360. Next time i'll get them!
I'm really happy that I saw Dane. I've never really gotten to hang out with him before, and he's a really cool guy. Jeff and his roommates are also bad asses, I have a lot in common with them. Ryan (roommate) has a graphics company that he needs more artwork for and he wants me to submit some of my stuff. STOKED! I can see myself becomming really good friends with these guys.

Why does it rain so much in San Marcos? The weather has been horrid for the past month with only a few days of halfway decent weather.
School has been alright lately. I'm going to end up with better grades than I though I would. I just have to keep it going until finals are over and my GPA should be halfway decent.
I gave my speech for mass comm today on Gandhi, which went suprisingly well. Since class was canceled on the day I was supposed to go I gave it in front of the teacher. bling!
Drunken boxing is bond.
I want to ride my bike.. christmas break will be filled with skatepark fun.
I did some stupid shit earlier this week which wasn't like me at all. I know my limits now and I am going to be the epitome of self restraint when it comes to them. shite. I really can't believe that I hurt the person that I care so much about. I really hope the she fogives me and knows that i cannot express how much she means to me. I'm so sorry baby, I will never do that to you again.
